Kasey is excited to become part of the Wendt Group. He is from Washington CH, Ohio and now has become a part of his wife's family farm outside New Vienna, Ohio. Kasey has had a life-long love of agriculture.
He went to college and was part of the livestock judging teams at Black Hawk East Community College and Western Illinois University, where he received his degree in Agriculture Science. He continues to be involved on the family farm, in which he and his family farrow around 60 sows for show pigs and breeding stock. He also has worked in the crop insurance industry for over 15 years.
Kasey has been an auctioneer since 2008 and has sold everything from farm equipment to livestock, including the National Hereford and Tamworth show and sale for the last 10 plus years as well as the Indiana State Fair. His love of agriculture and respect for the business carries through in his work with his commitment and professionalism to every job. Kasey and his wife Laura have three children, Wade, Owen and Gwen. They enjoy showing pigs, camping, and have a great passion for sports. Kasey is involved in the community by being a member of the New Vienna Lions Club, advisor of the New Vienna Buckeyes 4-H club, member of the Clinton county swine committee, and member of the Team Purebred Advisory Board and a board member of the OHPigs Board. Kasey and his wife are members of the New Vienna Methodist Church.
